Chris Lakkees specializes in luxury real estate and auction asset advisory with decades of executive experience in sales, marketing, real estate development and banking. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from USC’s Marshall School of Business, a globally top-10 program.
Chris began his luxury career in management with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in 1998 and helped launch the iconic Jimmy Choo brand in 2002, working alongside its founders in sales and marketing. This foundation in high-end hospitality and fashion shapes his refined approach to real estate—where presentation, service, and experience are paramount. He has advised high-net-worth clients on complex transactions. At American Financial, he helped grow a national real estate banking franchise to over 1,000 employees and $5 billion in annual revenue. As Executive Vice President of Business Development for one of Southern California’s largest builders, SWS, they led landmark projects including The Ritz-Carlton Downtown LA, The W Hollywood, The Beaudry, Shoreline Gateway in Long Beach, and The Metropolis. Chris comes from a legacy of global real estate development, with family projects spanning the Caribbean, North America, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. In California and Miami, they’ve developed over 500 residences. Chris contributed to ventures like Arte, a 182-unit luxury community in Southern California. Committed to giving back, Chris has raised over $15 million for women’s and children’s charities through his independent film and media work. His award-winning projects have been featured on Netflix and presented before the U.S. Congress, United Nations, and international parliaments as tools for anti-child abandonment and anti-human trafficking legal reform.
